Distribution coefficient of Nickel on Alluvium soil of Anarak Nuclear Repository in Iran

In this study, the distribution coefficient of Nickel on Anarak nuclear repository was studied considering effects contaminant concentration, soil particle size, and soil/solution ratio. For purpose, two experiments were designed. The sample collected from inside trench Nuclear Repository by channel method its characteristics determined using ASTM method. batch employed while different concentration volume solution added to stirred for 24 h at room temperature. nickel in range 0.05-1 mg/L as 13.63-997.89 mL/g with mean value 256.24 mL/g. Adsorption behavior is better followed Langmuir adsorption isotherm. results indicated contrary conversion Kd size Moreover, confirmed high dependency concentration.
